Rush Henrietta Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Stephanie

Stephanie is a Rush Henrietta High School senior. Capturing this moment in senior year is special on its own, but add in grandma and it took Stephanie’s senior pictures over the top.

You could tell they have a special connection, and that it helped to relax Stephanie for her senior portraits. Not that she needed it, she rocked every look she put on, even her nursing uniform!

Stephanie, you have a beautiful smile and laugh, let that radiate into the world and you will make your future patients at ease. Congrats Stephanie, I can’t wait to see where you go from here! -Lori

Victor High School Senior Portraits: Class of 2022, Nicolas

Victor High School Senior, Nicolas, had a hard time selecting his favorite senior pictures. Because as he said, “We didn’t expect to like them all so much!”

When it comes to senior portraits, that’s the best problem to have, if I may say so.

The Granger Homestead in Canandaigua is where his parents were married, and made a great setting with lots of backdrops to choose from for his senior session. It fit his sunny personality and easy going nature.

It was such a pleasure to work with you Nicolas, congratulations to you, and the rest of the Class of 2022!

Victor High School Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Nick

Photographing the senior portraits for a younger brother of a prior client is always meaningful. As a senior photographer, I am mindful to make the portrait session similar (for parents) but different (for the high school senior). :)

It had been four years since I last saw Nick, when he made a special appearance at Matt’s senior portrait session.

An avid reader, we had to include that passion in his senior pictures, and have fun with it. Though covering his face with the book was my idea, he may have preferred to do that for all his senior pictures! You couldn’t tell from these shots, but he going into the senior session, he wasn’t too excited about it. That’s ok, sometimes that the case, we get it! Luckily, he loves his momma and worked with me to get some nice shots for her and the Victor High School yearbook. We even included his Victor Robotics shirt!

Good luck next year, Nick!

Victor High School Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Cameron

I remember Cameron’s senior pictures so well.

It was calling for rain, but neither of us wanted to postpone the portrait session. We decided to shoot a little earlier in the day to beat the forecast, and it worked perfectly!

We met at Midvale Country Club to photograph this high school senior golf and soccer star. Cameron made it easy, just like his brother Connor had done. I love looking at both senior portrait sessions - photographed in different locations, but both carrying a similar feel with all the brilliant green backgrounds.

Just as we finished Cameron’s senior pictures, we felt a few sprinkles and we all high fived that we not only squeezed it in, but got some beautiful senior portraits.

Congrats Cameron!

Penfield NY Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Bella

Bella is a Class of 2022, Penfield High School Senior. It was my pleasure to capture her senior pictures last summer. Here’s the quick recap!

Before hitting Ellison Park for Bella’s casual, fun, senior portrait session, we made a stop at her old Elementary School, just around the corner.

This was a first for me, but I loved the intention behind it. Bella and her mother wanted to show the scope of schooling in her senior pictures, from the beginning in Kindergarten to now as she graduates. They brought along her Kindergarten photo and we took some sweet photos with in her old stomping grounds as a kid.

The sentimentality continued, when she wore a t-shirt honoring her late grandfather and his passion for restoring old cars. We had such a nice night finding natural spots to compliment Bella’s beauty. Stay tuned for part 2, when we got mom in on the fun!

Congrats Bella!

Pittsford Mendon Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Isabella

Pittsford Mendon High School Senior, Isabella, is an outdoorsy girl.

So climbing on a log barefoot in her senior pictures was totally normal for her.

I’m not sure if she was more at home by the water, or in the tree, but she was definitely a natural with her duck. She and Quackers the Therapy Duck donate their time to spread smiles. How awesome is that?

Thank you for such a fun and unique senior session Isabella, and congratulations Class of 2022! -Lori

Irondequoit High School Senior Portraits: Class of 2022, Claire

Irondequoit High School Senior, Claire definitely made my list of “top senior picture sessions.”

Not only did they choose one of my favorite hidden gems, Linear Park, but she wanted to get artsy with her senior portraits.

Jumping, walking, reading, photographing the natural world… it all just felt so relaxed. It felt like “her.”
And with that mega watt smile, just like her mom, we all had a great afternoon making senior pictures that they love.

Congrats Claire, I can’t wait to see what you do with that camera and beyond! -Lori

Fairport NY Senior Pictures: Nolan, Class of 2022

It was a true honor being asked to photograph Nolan’s senior pictures. He’s a Senior at Fairport High School, and I’ve been standing next to him on the line for years, practicing archery. So naturally, the range was one of our destinations for his senior session!

I also got to see a different side of Nolan when he demonstrated his drum skills. How unique are these senior pictures?

If you know him, you know that he is one of the nicest guys you will meet! I was lucky enough to photograph the rest of his family too at a separate family portrait session… so keep your eyes peeled for that post!

Congrats Nolan!

Victory NY Senior Pictures: Rachel, Class of 2022

Victor High School Senior, Rachel, says her favorite quote is “Choose happy.”

So what is that choice for her senior pictures? Answer: The water. Rachel is also a swim instructor, though that takes place in a pool. We both agreed that the park would make a better backdrop, so we went to Irondequoit Creek.

Though Rachel is very involved in high school clubs and sports (she went to states with her softball team), she opted to keep her senior portrait session simple. So we focused on that gorgeous smile of hers, and had fun outdoors. I’m a big fan of how these senior pictures turned out.

Please help me to say congratulations to Rachel, Class of 2022!

Fairport NY Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Alex

I can’t tell you how many times I have driven by this horse farm on Turk Hill Road, but Alex is the first high school senior to bring me there for her Fairport senior pictures.

The summer evening at golden hour could not have been more picturesque. We photographed Alex with her favorite horse, and her dog. She rocked a gorgeous dress, cowboy boots and even camo for her senior pictures!

I remember getting to the end of her senior portrait session and not wanting to leave! What’s one more shot when it’s a perfect summer evening?

It was so great getting to know you Alex, congrats!

Victor High School Senior Portraits: Emily and Lauren

Capturing senior pictures for twin sisters is so much fun!

Their happy place is along the shores of Canandaigua Lake, where they rock in the swing there and talk about their lives. You might also spot them on a volleyball court at Victor High School. You don’t want to mess with these twins on the court.

Emily and Lauren were so sweet, two peas in a pod, as they say. We took some of their senior portraits in nature, and along the water front, where things are peaceful.

We wish both of you an awesome senior year, and beyond!

Fairport Senior Pictures: Class of 2022, Zack

Zack, from Fairport High School chose the pier at Charlotte Beach for his fashion inspired senior pictures.

We had so much fun incorporating everything from graffiti to trees to bricks into his senior portraits. Don’t you just love his style? His posing was effortless and natural.

This is how I hope it will be for everyone of our high school senior portraits. And if you don’t feel at home in front of a lens like Zack did, we’re there to help you relax into the session, and create amazing senior pictures.

This is just another example of how much I love my job. I got to spend the morning getting to know a great family, while walking along the beach and expressing my creativity by way of creating senior portraits.

Thanks all for the wonderful day, and congrats Zack!
