We caught up with Carter, Cameron and Cole at Mendon Ponds Park last week for a fun, playful, outdoor session. They even brought along Daisy, the family dog, to play! These boys were full of energy and spunk. I love the RGB color scheme and the liveliness it brings to the images. We even got mom and dad in there for a couple family portraits. Enjoy this little glimpse!

Less than a week old, and he's already growing too fast. We've been looking forward to his birth for awhile now. Back in the fall, we photographed their announcement, - so finally he's here! And now that he is, we all want to slow down time and keep him this small forever. I went to photograph his first session of his first year plan, and probably spent a bit more time snuggling him than I meant to. But I couldn't help it, he's just so cute and cuddly! I'm so happy for his mommy, daddy and big brother, and am excited to watch him grow up. Hopefully though, not too fast.

What a great vacation idea-- escape to the Finger Lakes and have all the family meet there. We worked with this amazing family last year, and were excited that they came back to town again. This time, we met at Belhurst Castle on Seneca Lake, whereas last years session was on Keuka Lake. Same two adorable cousins with another on the way! These girls are full of energy, laughter and love. They enjoyed running around the lawn, reading and playing with their toys. And the sunglasses! Too cute! We took Landon to the local park to celebrate his 2nd birthday. Man- life goes fast! Just yesterday we were swaddling him, now he is running around, being a super hero. He loves to play tackle and chase, so it was a good workout for me. It is so worth it when you see this little man's smile. Happy Birthday Landon!

Fair warning, there is a lot of adorableness in this post! For this session we played dress up with Morgan at 6 months. Mom and Dad had lots of fun dresses to show off, and Morgan was the best little model. From an elegant white gown to pink ruffles and finishing off with a fun sailor dress, how could you resist?

This maternity session was quite different than our norm. Sam and Stephanie requested some classic maternity images, and the weather was not cooperating for an outdoor session, so we ended up in our office. I don't do it often, but it can be converted to use in a "studio like" manner. So we did! We got together and made some simple yet elegant, black and white portraits to celebrate baby number two, coming next month.

Landon has a new little brother, and some competition in the cuteness category. His name is Dempsey and he is such a sweet pea. When I visited, Landon was in play mode and Dempsey was asleep. That's basically how the whole session went. It was a good thing the focus was on Dempsey! Even though Landon didn't want to pose with his brother, it did result in one of my favorite family photos of late. It shows what life is really like with an almost two year old and newborn under one roof. A little crazy, a little fun, and a little tiring. Here we go, enjoy!

Clara is an active little 18 month old and explore she must! What better place to let her roam than at the local zoo? She was the most fashionable little girl there with her white dress and jean jacket. She loved looking for and waving to all of the animals. She is smart too-- knows what all of the animals say. Quack, cluck, oo-oo-ah-ah, and more. She is just so darn cute, I'd follow this little girl anywhere. Have a great day! -Lori

For the past few months, we have had the honor to work with some great families in the Cobblestone neighborhood of Victor. Some who have lived there just a few years, others who have had a hand in building the original development. It's been fun getting to meet new people and hear their stories. And then, to see them published!
The Cobblestone neighborhood is a beautiful area that surrounds the Cobblestone Creek Country Club. The monthly magazine celebrates the families, students, pets, lawns and travels of their neighbors. The articles are written by folks that live there about issues and people important to them. Each month there is a featured family in the "get to know your neighbors" section. That's where we come in!

She's tiny, cute and perfect. She's also the newest adventure in Natalie and Dan's life. What an honor and joy it was to get to meet her last week, in her first few days at home. Thanks to Rochester's weather, in her short time here so far she's already seen 3 different seasons...spring, summer and winter. She's also been on a few hikes and has been showered with love from friends and family alike. It's always exciting for us when we get the opportunity to meet a new addition to the family of one of our wedding couples. We love reconnecting with you, and capturing that next stage in your family's history. For us, it doesn't get much better than that.
Welcome to the world little one! Your mom and dad are so happy you're here, and we can't wait to watch you grow into a beautiful, sweet little girl!

This is part two with Morgan as we join her on the first year plan. We were shooting at home again, as with the first session. We got to play in lots of outfits, hang with our favorite stuffed animals and make the most of tummy time. She is not a fan of being on her tummy, but we were able to make some cute images very quickly to show off how she can hold her head up now! I love the black and whites and snuggle time the most from this session. Oh, and that little blue bow? How could you resist?! Enjoy!
